I'm sure no one really cares more than perhaps passing interest and nothing else to do, but it's fun to look back and see anyway.

1. How long have you been on DeviantArt?
I've been a member for 9 years. That's longer than I thought. I still love being a member and seeing all the sensational art that comes my way. There is so much inspiration here that I consider it an invaluable resource for my art.

2. What does your username mean?
My username "QueenLilSis" is a throwback to when I used to play an MMORPG called Utopia. My sister was there too, so I had the username LilSis. I was then made queen of my group, so I was then QueenLilSis. So I used it for my deviantart page. It's pretty dumb. Someday I'll get a premium membership again so that I can change my username to something that represents me a little more.

3. Describe yourself in three words.
Lazy, passionate, flexible (not in terms of my body though...)

4. Are you left or right handed?
I am right handed, but I feel that if I had practiced with both when I was learning to write and draw, that I might have become ambidextrous. I do a lot of things better left-handed than I do right-handed, it's only with writing that I have a clear preference.

5. What was your first deviation?
Elven Knight by QueenLilSis Elven Knight Remix by QueenLilSisMy first deviation was Elven Knight. I drew her on the back of scrap paper, as you can plainly tell. I still like her, in a nostalgic kind of way. I redid her for a KYOA though. My style has changed an awful lot, but I still don't hate the way I drew before. After all, It got me to here right? I still have a looooong way to go.

6. What is your favorite type of art to create?
I still really love to draw and color traditionally, in an anime/manga style. Anime was the first thing that really inspired me to draw people, and I still love it and use it as inspiration for my own drawings. Recently though, I've been experimenting with papercraft, and I have to say, I'm starting to really love it!

7. If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
I think I'd actually love to master surrealism. There is something so compelling in the familiar-yet-not imagery of surrealism that really draws me in.

8. What was your first favorite?
Up . Side . Down by shirotsukiMy first favorite was "Up.Side.Down" by shirotsuki I just thought it was really cool. I still do :)

9. What type of art do you tend to favorite the most?
I tend to favorite digitally drawn manga and anime, but if I see any artwork that makes me stare at it for longer than a minute (in a good way), then into my favorites it goes.

10. Who is your all-time favorite deviant artist?
I'm not sure I have an all-time favorite; there are so many amazing gorgeous artists out there! If I had to pick... probably yuumei is my favorite, because not only are her works visually stunning, but she puts a lot of complex ideas, thoughts, and feelings into her art. She's an artist who can really make me think. There's a reason why she's so popular, you know?

11. If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?
Ummm... maybe I'm weird, but I don't really think about meeting people I admire. It's not something that I really aspire to. I guess nobody has to worry about me becoming their stalker?

12. How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?
My personal friend and fellow deviant Lhungoniel has been a great help to me in developing my art style and strengthening my weaknesses. She and I have vastly different ways of producing art, and she's exceptionally good at rendering from life, while I usually draw from my imagination. She's helped me realize the value of references, even though my style is anything but realistic. She is also very good at building characters, and every time she tells me about them, I always get the itch to draw them! She is a great inspiration and a wonderful person to get some objective feedback from.

13. What are your preferred tools to create art?
I like good old pencils. And colored pencils. I've tried digital, and while I think it is a great tool, I just don't feel I can be bothered to learn it well. I do, however, want to learn how to use markers like a pro though. The vibrant colors and amazing techniques you can do with them make my heart beat a little faster.

14. What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
Anywhere. I used to have a sketchbook with me always, and even if I wasn't actively drawing from the world around me, wherever I am, something gives me the urge to draw.

15. What is your favorite DeviantArt memory?
I think it was the day I discovered deviant-sponsored contests. It was so much fun getting to feel like part of the community by interacting with other contest entrants and seeing the vast difference in style, skill, and interpretation was very inspiring and educational.
